Greetings. I have made my return, and this time I intend to stay! However, for that I need RP. So far I have Diantha here, when last she was active she had yet to manifest her abilities. I figure that it could provide some mild entertainment for a thread.
Since I am unfamiliar with the current plots details, and since Diantha really have not been involved with it as far as I know, I would like to keep it simple, for now.
Here is a little summary of Diantha. She is an introvert nerd who wants nothing more than to be able to live an easy life. Her powers are, once manifested, plant manipulation and Accelerated Photosynthesis.

I've got three people for you here (and possibly a fourth in the future; you may know him!):
Jason Sutherland - Adrenal Manipulation - He's childish, sadistic, overconfident, narcissistic and very competent in his ability. His life and business revolves around his ability and like a drug-addict, he is very much reliant on it. He uses it on himself for bursts of adrenaline and sells what he calls 'boosts'. Those are, for lack of better terms, augments. He also gives people adrenaline 'shots' if they don't have powers (or if they do). He is also able to nullify/dampen abilities this way though that's more rare. It could very well be that he takes a likening to her -- as she's a lady -- and tries it on, though it goes lobsided and through character development on both parts, he uses his ability on her and forces manifestation? I'm open to ideas!
Alessandro Moretti - Civilian / Company agent - Not much here, though can work on something. He hates all specials (except Alice Taylor) and is a Company agent treading on thin ice.
Allyson Pendergrass - Ability Sensing / Suppression - A psychologist who (not known to the public) works for Lux Aeterna. She's a compassionate, considerate and, above all, caring girl who loves helping people. She runs a small firm (as well as her other job) dealing in psychotherapy and specialising in those with abilities (and those who have just manifested and are wanting to control them). She can detect abilities in people as well as read what they are and determine anything about them. She is also able to completely suppress abilities (singular or radial) as well as outright turn them off semi-permenantly (people can't use them unless they remanifest). These two could be good friends!

I believe that Diantha and Jason had a run in, in the thread that we never finished. However, I believe it might be good, if we pick this combination that we start on a new one. Since it seems that the previous thread was a mere meet and greet, but maybe we could work something out of that?
But maybe Allyson would work better if we want to manifest her powers in this thread in a more controlled way? Though I can see that Jason might be able to kick start her ability in a, possibly violent way.

We could very well continue that thread, though it might make more sense to start a new one and go by the fact they've seen each other but aren't really friends/barely talk? And go from there? I see Jason pushing her for a boost, and her responding, so he gets pissed off?
As for Allyson, that'd definitely work. She can't manifest other abilities just yet, but she can keep them controlled and suppressed if needed. So perhaps we can tie in both of these characters for the manifestation, depending on what direction you want Diantha to take?
In example, Jason boosts her not realizing she has a power, she manifests and is tryna run away due to her not knowing what's going on, and that's when Allyson finds her?

Ah, I do not know why I thought she could manifest powers. xD Anyhow, yeah I think that would work perfectly, having Jason unknowingly manifest her powers using his own powers, well I can't imagine it manifesting gently, maybe we should locate that thread in a part or somewhere with some vegetation? (I suppose grocery stores or the like would work as as well, and that is not only because of the hilariousness of angry Potatoes attacking.)
And she would probably seek help somehow, so yeah we could tie Allyson in through that. Though quick question, I presume Allyson would be fairly known for being a specialist in people with powers or would Diantha have to be referred to her by another psychologist/Doctor/SomeoneWhoKnowsWhatTheyAreDoing?

Angry potatoes... that is a winning combination!
And Allyson is from quite a wealthy family and has been asked by several prominent universities and colleges to hold lectures (such as NYU) about people with abilities so I don't see why she wouldn't be well known. Certainly not celeb status, but definitely known in the field and highly respected.
If Dianthia is seeing a psychologist or therapist, or even doctor, though -- they'd most likely refer her to Allyson from the offset due to her specialisation in people with abilities.
