I'm not sure what to think about Jonathan. I was sure he just wanted to sleep with me, but he turned out to be a perfect gentleman. We even have the same strange ability, though of course he is a lot better with his.
Really, in the end, I had no choice but to leave. I could not fathom any way in which the night could have ended well. We don't even live in the same town.
Okay, so I might be just making excuses again, but still. I think it was the right move to make. He has my number; maybe he'll call, maybe he won't. We'll just have to see what happens.
IC Chat Revelations 1:1-5
Funny, the things you can learn on the Internet. I don't get on chat much, because usually there are just creeps and gossips online. But creeps and gossips know things too, albeit things that should be taken with a few grains of salt.
I'm never wrong about people. Never. Neither am I quick to believe everything I hear/see. But there's truth to every lie; the trick is finding the fine line.
I'll have to keep these things in mind if I ever speak to Jonathan again.

You and the night and the music
Well, that was interesting. We went, we saw, we got paid. Not only that, but Jonathan was there, with a couple of friends. One who apparently can control the air you're breathing, if what he did to Shawn is any indication. Maybe even the old guy who collapsed behind us... that would have just been evil. I think he said his name was Chris.
But yes, Shawn showed up as well. And offered to pay my way through a New York reunion concert, no questions asked. I'm going to take him up on it, of course. I hate NY, but if I don't get out of this city for a while, I might just go crazy.
Met a very nice man named Robert. He was in town for work, I think. We went to the museum. It was a nice change. I hope everything went well over the rest of his stay in Vegas.
Well, that's the last time I let the guys pick a bar. I was heckled and might have been physically harmed if one of the other patrons had not stepped in and taken care of things. He was a nice guy, for how intimidating he looked. Not the sort of man I'd pick a fight with.
IC Chat Revelations 2:1
There are some seriously twisted people on that chat site. It's entertaining and yet frightening to watch. Like a train wreck about to happen, I can't look away, even though common sense tells me I most certainly should.

~~New York State of Mind~~
Bored On Arrival (Luke)
Wow. I get into New York and immediately wind up on "Cash Cab." It had nothing to do with my cab-calling skills, or lack thereof. A little incident led to my meeting Luke, who offered to share his cab, which turned out to be Ben Bailey's. And the rest is history, I guess.
I can't believe it actually happened to me. Growing up in a tough neighborhood, around plenty of criminals, I never got hurt. But I go up to NY, and next thing I know, I'm fighting for my life in a dark alley. Thank God for Tobias. I doubt I would have made it out of there if it weren't for him.
He seemed like a nice guy, too. Very talented with instruments. Got himself a free dinner, and still paid for it. I hope he stays out of trouble. If he's right about that Company, we all should be and should have been watching our backs.
Having several hours missing from a night is not a great feeling. I feel as if I had been sleeping, but Shawn insists I was nowhere to be found. In that case, I guess I should be glad I turned up safe and sound. But the worst case scenario is frightening- especially given that Shawn believes it is the case: Was I actually kidnapped by the Company?
Ran into Tobias again, this time in Central Park. There was a bit of an altercation there with some kid who tried to rob Tobias and a young woman. Guess that guy learned the hard way.
Since I was already in New York, my boss had me attend a technology fair. What a cheapskate. At least I made some work hours and a small bonus off the deal.
IC Chat Revelations 3
I haven't logged into chat in a while. That might not change for some time.

I spent four minutes and thirty seconds hiding in a little shop. Not the greatest few minutes of my life. I missed my plane, and Rayleigh was knocked out for a while. Outside, it was like the end of the world in movies, just a lot more real. I wasn't sure it was ever going to end, but it did, thankfully.
Now to begin putting the pieces of my life back together. At least my apartment building is still standing, according to Dakari. And I have a plane ticket out of here for tomorrow morning. Good riddance, New York.
Just came back from seeing how Jonathan's house held up. It didn't. I'm not sure why I visited, either. I mean, I hadn't seen the man in, what, a month? Anyway, it was good to see him, and have someone to commiserate with. I left him Estelle's phone number, since he sounded interested in moving to Vegas.
Apparently, he's got some sort of hypnotic abilities too. I don't think he's ever used them on me, though. That, I appreciate.

I wonder if the chatroom even survived 4/4.
