Villains, the bad guys, the one who make it possible to have heroes. There are many villainous qualities, which will make up a villain, or someone on the verge of being a villain. Hopefully this will explain some.
Psychological villains- There is a reason for why they are doing what they do. There is purpose, for every action they take, a reason is behind it. Whether it be for money, or power.
Drones - Foot soldiers, the one who follow orders.
White collar Villain - These are the kind who use their powers for their own ill gotten gains, they serve only themselves, and it’s generally a self purpose.
Thugs - Products of their environment, made because of past history or because of where they grew up. They survive. Because they have to.
Misguided hero's/ Anti-heroes/ Vigilantes - they are the villains who are misunderstood, or in that morally gray area. They will do what they need to do to make what they want happen.
Thieves - Generally the ones who look out for themselves, they do what they do to make ends meet. They will lie, cheat and steal, and generally have loose morals.
Masterminds - These are the generals, the guys who send out other people to do their dirty work. The ones who come up with the plans. But just because they plan, doesn’t mean they don’t get their hands dirty, when the time calls for it, they do what they have to do.
Fanatics - The ones who are willing to die for their cause. They don’t care who they meet along the way, they have one goal, and will die to see it happen.
Some side notes
A Villain rarely thinks what he is doing is wrong. He has a justifiable means to what he is doing. sometimes they just wanna do evil, because its evil.
Lastly, Villains are people too, just because they are bad, doesn’t mean that they are all bad, they just have evil intentions, doesn’t mean you cant go for a drink with them down the pub, it just means that they might steal your wallet whilst there, after making you pay for all the drinks...
Mixing and matching from above is probably the best way to go with Villains, not all of them can be SUPER EVIL otherwise the rp would just be boring.
