Affiliates last updated on 18 June 2014.
Just so y'all know, once you get added as an affiliate, your request in this thread will be deleted since it makes things easier for us Eclipse mods to keep track of. You can always double check to make sure your button is in one of our banners.
Also, since we mods can be pretty busy, please allow up to one week for your affiliation request to be added. It probably won't take us that long, but real life happens!
///// AFFILIATION RULES
1) We don't have a member minimum/activity minimum to affiliate.
2) Affiliates are checked every 30 days for activity and are deleted if there has been no activity for 30 days, or if the forum goes into maintenance mode.
3) Static banners: If you want to be put in our static banner, your site needs to be active (read: someone needs to have posted IC in the last month). We don't care if your board has 1 member or 100 active members. Also, if you request a static banner here, we request that our banner be placed in a static banner on your site.
4) Your site must have a visible list of affiliates on its main page (like how we have a scrolling/static list of affiliate banners at the bottom of ours). The whole point of affiliating is to be seen and not have to slog through a forum to find a page of affiliates or whatever.
5) Many sites these days are adding hover codes and the like to hide-then-reveal affiliate buttons. It looks really awesome. Do not post our button behind any hover, rotating, or other such codes. If we cannot immediately see our button just by looking at the home page (having to scroll to the bottom of the page is fine), we will remove your button from our site.
Post in this thread!
///// OUR AFFILIATE BUTTON + CODE

///// AFFILIATION APPLICATION/CODE
** Please note that the Eclipse mods really don't care if you use our code or not. As long as we're able to tell where your forum is and what the link to your button is, we're fine. If you want to copypasta affiliation codes/ads from other boards to save yourself time, go right ahead. We totally understand. Since we have over 100 affiliate boards to check on a regular basis, we tend to just copypasta our own ads/updates since it saves us time, and the info we copypasta contains all the necessary information about our game.
Our affiliating rules are really lenient. Just give us the link to your forum, your banner image/url, and make sure your forum's had at least 1 IC post in the past month. **

///// GENERAL INFO ABOUT ECLIPSE
Eclipse: A Heroes RPG started just after Volume II of the TV series finished. From spoilers we kind of knew where the show was going, and we first devised our own plot in line with the idea of Level 5 and the Company hunting down and attempting to rehabilitate/break overpowered specials who were abusing their powers or couldn't control them. But based on ideas from our players, we started to diverge from the show and started using our own plots and creating our own ideas.
Eclipse still follows some of the main ideas from the show: the Company still exists and attempts to take in specials to teach them how to use their abilities for good. We've also created our own volumes and our players have each had a hand in creating some of the factions popular on the site today. Our plot has completely moved in a different direction than the plot which ended the TV show, and you do not need to have watched the show to become involved in Eclipse.
The players have all helped make Eclipse into its own unique universe where everyone is welcome to be a hero . . . or a villain.
What will you become?
