Abilities/Powers/Skills-
Telekinesis:
Telekinesis, or psychokinesis, is the ability to move tangible objects with one's mind. This is performed by being able to exert a push or a pull upon objects in any direction. The vectors, quantity, and quality of these forces combined allows for a variety of effects. The simplest form is to levitate objects by putting forth a constant force against gravity. Objects or people could also be pushed or pulled forcefully by adding a quick acceleration to one direction. An acceleration could also be added to something already in motion in the reverse direction, thus slowing it down to a full stop. Sending a force with a wide area of effect into a person would knock the person back, while sending a very concentrated but powerful push could puncture or cut human flesh and bone. The force could be used on the user in order to enhance movements, strength, and even allow for self-levitation.
Stemming from Alice's telekinetic power, she could also make a constant but controlled push or pull in an area she desired. For example, if she was to create a constant three inch push over a wide vertical area, the constant force could have the same effect as an invisible wall. Having a small amount of push going towards the ground in a sparse and random pattern could imitate raindrops. More complex objects could also be created via this concept if a concentrated push in a controlled area to imitate tangible objects, such as ladders and boxes.
As her powers grew in strength, Alice has the ability to ramp up her telekinetic strength if she concentrates hard enough, giving her force and precision she would not otherwise be able to summon on the fly. For example, an armoured van is many times her body weight, but given sufficient time for Alice to concentrate on ramping up her powers, she could swat aside the van in one stroke.
Telepathy:
Telepathy is the transmission of information and senses from one person to another without using any of our known sensory channels or physical interaction. Alice has the ability to tap into the minds of those around her, hearing their every thought as if the thoughts were her own. By linking into the minds of others, Alice can also see, hear, smell, and feel everything the linked person is currently experiencing. Thoughts and sense can also travel in the other direction, and Alice could transmit thoughts and senses to someone she's linked to. With this power, she can communicate with anyone without speech or signals, and muddle the thoughts of her foes. Alice can also transmit senses, but the senses do not have to be what she is currently experiencing, but simply something she thought up. The power to transmit false senses can also be used as a very low level illusion.
The height of her telepathic powers come at touch distance. If she has physical contact with a sentient being, Alice can not only gather the thoughts, feelings, and sensations of someone, but also past thoughts, feelings, and sensations, essentially performing a Vulcan mind meld and walking through someone's memories, taking away their greatest secrets. At this range, thoughts are no longer limited by language, and she can freely pass thoughts back and forth with perfect understanding regardless if the other person didn't speak her language, or is an animal that didn't speak at all. So long as a being has the ability to think, Alice could communicate with it if she can touch it.
The mind meld provides a simulated environment for Alice and the linked person to experience memories in. For example, a person had a train ride last week, and via mind meld, the person can experience the train ride again, but this time Alice will sit with him, and he is able to talk to her about what went on as events unfold before both their eyes. Alice can also mind meld someone into a Matrix-like fantasy land of her design, where she controls the environment and her guest can only control himself.
Limits-
Telekinesis:
Despite the potential, the amount of telekinetic power Alice wields are limited. The distance between herself and the object she wishes to move dictates the amount of force and the amount of control she has on the object. At the distance of physical contact, Alice could lift about ten times her body weight. Distance also reduces her telekinetic accuracy, but with experience she could move things that she could see with her unaided eyesight.
To exert a constant and controlled push in a manner that resembles tangible objects or different phenomenon requires an incredible amount of constant concentration. In order to use this ability, Alice would need to truly imagine as though the effect she wanted was really happening. To aid in her concentration, she would use miming movements as a way to reinforce the idea. For example, to make a telekinetic wall, she would spend some time doing the "mime wall" act to help with the concentration. This concentration is also easily broken by sudden distractions. If Alice was to use mimesis to create a stepladder, and started going up the ladder while focusing hard, a loud and unexpected noise behind her would break her focus, and the ladder would disappear, leaving her to crash to the ground.
For very simple mimicry, the concentration needed is not very great, as she could form throwing stars or baseball bats quite easily. However, because light exhibits properties of particles, Alice's telekinetic pushes and pulls actually partially refract light, making mimed objects somewhat visible to the human eyes if one was paying attention.
The ability to ramp up her telekinetic strength comes at a great cost. This skill is akin to supercharging her brain to levels beyond her normal capacity. The strain on the mind alone can cause severe nosebleeds and fainting. Her mind would be weakened enough that she'd be rendered powerless for a moment. On top of that, the brain sucks up all available energies from the body to overpower itself, leaving the body very weak, like Alice just went through an intense physical workout. The severity of these conditions is related to how overpowered her ramping got.
Telepathy:
Alice's telepathy , while potent, is still relatively raw compared to her telekinetic powers. She is capable of jump from one mind to another with ease, but she could never be linked to two or more minds at one time. Alice can also only perform one of her telepathic powers at a time. If she is reading someone's thoughts, she cannot also be sending thoughts at the same time, or be seeing what the person's seeing. This limits her ability to generate illusions, as she can only make illusions with a single sense at a time, such as visuals without sounds, or sounds without visuals, making them situational and sometimes less convincing.
Despite being able to make people hear, see, and feel different things, Alice cannot actually take control of someone completely. She can really mess with her victims, but ultimately her victims are always in control of their actions.
The mind meld lets Alice sift through someone's memories and steal information. While this works great for finding passwords, it cannot pass on learned skills to Alice, as skills derive from a collective of both knowledge and experience. Trying to learn Spanish from someone that speaks it would be like trying to learn Spanish with a Spanish text book in her hands.
Despite being able to walk among someone's memories, Alice does not have the power to alter any of it. She can only use the memories to learn about the person or events in their thoughts.
Bringing someone into her Matrix-like fantasy land is the only time Alice is able to use all of her telepathic powers at once, being able to send and receive thoughts and sensations simultaneously to create the perfect illusion in the mind. An illusion, however, is just that. Nothing that happens to a person Alice mind melded with is real, and people cannot sustain real injuries in fantasy land, unlike the Matrix. A person with an especially strong will can actually break Alice's illusions, and even begin exerting their own designs within the illusion. Someone that truly didn't want to be in a mind meld can break the link with enough desperation, such as if Alice begins to torture them mentally with illusions, or if Alice is diving into memories which the person would rather die than to reveal, but it must be something that the person has extremely strong feelings towards.
