"Thank you. It was a pretty penny but it is big enough for the wife and a family. The frog is full enough here as well, though it has been a whirlwind.
Anyways, now I am babbling and I am sure that is not why you called. So, what can I do you for this evening?

I'm glad to hear it. From what Ana told me of it, I was afraid you might have broken the bank on your home. It wouldn't be the first time a man's done that. I blew most of my savings building Ray her dream home. <Another warm chuckle.> Anyway, funny you should mention the frog. Do you have your elephant set up at the front door?

<Small laugh> "Why yes I do, set up just like you had mentioned when you explained. Not usually the superstitious type, but it seems to be working, plenty of luck has come my way as of late.

<laugh> Good, good. Glad to hear it. So, you know how the elephant has one leg outstretched? Pick it up and twist the leg out of the body, counterclockwise. I'll hold while you try it.

<Amused chuckle> If you think it's a diamond worth about one point five million dollars, then yes, it is what you think it is. There will be one under each of the other feet as well. As you see, we make our own luck. And before you ask, they are completely legal. Ana asked me to buy them for you before your trip to Jamaica.

"Full of surprises, your family is. I suppose I should be thanking you... unless of course there happens to be a purpose for my sudden windfall. In which case, I am listening."

There's no purpose behind it save my daughter's concern for your well-being. Before Jamaica, she and I made a bet. She won, and I had the diamonds hidden in the elephant. I will admit that I did not have to pay full price for the diamonds, but that's due to a friendship I have with a well-known jeweler. Aside from that, Ana, and I, simply wanted you to have something in case you ever found yourself upon hard times.

"I see. Well... it might have been a bet, yet the intention is good enough in my books. Thank you Mr. Johessman. I will put the money to good use... well, relatively good use." <small chuckle> "A spring will blossom shortly and with spring comes new life. A seed planted in the depths of fall could make for a very sweet fruit in the spring. Let me know how the harvest goes."
