Personality-Eric was never one to really accept what authority plans out for him and prefers to rebel against those who try and silence his spirit. He is no stranger to putting his own wit and intellect against people who try to silence him. He does not show loyalty very often feeling that it is often regarded as a sign of weakness; often meaning he comes off as a rather dangerous person to cross. He will do anything he needs in order to get what he wants which more often than not includes stabbing a few people in the back in order to get somewhere. Eric can come across as someone who feels no need to formally dedicate himself to the cause and thus may come off as lazy but you will be surprised by his own ethics.
When given the challenge to do something that may prove beneficial for him, Eric will often become fairly ambitious to get what he wants. He simply won’t let anything get in his way. He really is a piece of work when it comes to getting what he wants; often coming of as manipulative and prone to backstabbing in order to obtain complete control over a situation. He finds it fairly easy to motivate himself when he truly sees an opportunity arising that could go well for him. When a challenge proves unbeneficial to him or a complete waste of his time then he will become self-satisfied and rather lethargic to the situation at hand.
Eric prefers to close himself off from the world feeling that it is better if he remains only loyal to himself. Over the years, Eric has simply grown more and more guarded towards others to a point where he finds the ability to actually trust someone completely impossible. He rarely shows his thoughts with others because he feels like they would not be able to understand his own intellect. He is no stranger to keeping things secret from others and has developed a mastery of guarding all of his thoughts and opinions. To those few he does actually trust, he often finds an inability to show how he truly feels about a situation often misleading people to believe he is a cynic and rather cold when it comes to social interaction.
Change is something that Eric takes with stride. He embraces it to a point where he is constantly accepting change and letting it happen to him. Whilst he might know that sometimes change can be hard, he is no fool and realizes that in order to grow, and change has to happen. Eric might not always like the change that is happening around him, but never has he really doubted the cleansing powers of change and how they affect everything that is going on around him.
Callous and thoughtless would be two words that would be used to immediately describe Eric and how he actually treats people. In his own eyes, he is the better person of a situation and will never accept that he is wrong and will instead imply that he is much more powerful than you even when it is clear that he is not. Eric rarely admits that he is in the wrong feeling that he is always right despite the actions going on around him. He is fairly proud in every sense of the word and won’t back down without a proper fight. He shows a complete disregard for how people feel about him and perhaps that’s part of the reason why many people see him as arrogant and full of hatred towards the world. He never thinks about how anyone else would feel and feels that his own opinions are the only ones that really count.
Cooperation is not a word that Eric takes lightly and instead when he does manage to cooperate with someone he finds himself always wanting to take control of the situation. In the times where he is not in charge, he will often be uncooperative and scheme to sabotage plans in order to put him in charge. Resistance of a situation will come fairly easy to him as he will simply refuse to do anything that he is told until he gets his own way. Other’s view this as him simply acting out like some sort of spoiled child while others feel he simply cannot help it.
There are two types of people in this world; those who do what is necessary and those who do what is convenient. Eric himself, prides that he is the latter of the two. He does not make decisions on whether they are right or wrong but simply on what is the easiest or most productive option to make. Due to this, he is not afraid to stab people in the back or sell people out when it is convenient to do so. A rather reckless part of his personality, Eric does not regret anything he does feeling that regret itself is a sign of weakness.
When it comes to his decisions, Eric can be a rather stubborn man. He will not bend to others demands and will instead try to fight head on despite the challenge that may be waiting him. When locked in debate, he will always insist that he is right and become uncooperative to others ideas. Once he feels that he is right, he becomes inflexible in that he will never see anyone else’s point of view, no matter how revealing it might be.
One of the more positive traits about Eric is that he is a rather focused individual, always following things through without second thought. Once he sees the chance to do something, he will follow it through without hesitation and his mind will become locked onto the subject at hand.

Abilities/Powers/Skills-ReplicationWith this ability, Eric is capable of replicating his own cellular structure which then allows him to make an exact carbon copy of who he is at the exact moment that he used his ability. Along with the physical similarities, the clone will also share his personality traits as well as his dreams, memories etcetera however, the clone will be able to act of its own accord if it so wishes to do meaning once he creates a clone, it is allowed to wander off and do what it likes. Upon doing this, Eric is capable of performing multiple tasks at the same time; each clone taking up a different task in order to aid Eric.
One of the main advantages to Eric’s own abilities is the fact that he is capable of absorbing each of his clones back into his entire structure once they are finished with their designated task and collectively receive all of the information that they had received whilst they were on their own in the world. This allows Eric to absorb masses of information without the need of actually having to have to come into contact with it.Hive MindWhen his duplicates are out exploring the world around them, Eric is capable of tapping into everything that they are interacting with at that point in time. While they might be out in the world on their own, Eric still has control over them and their actions. This power is often described as him being the hive, the prime to which all information and power is reverted back to.
With this ability, Eric is capable of reading the thought patterns of all of his clones, being able to link to them empathically since they are by-products of him. He is granted a limited form of telepathy which only works on his clones, being able to tap into their thoughts and feelings as well as imprint his own commands into their heads which they will feel compelled to follow out.
Eric does have complete control over these clones in a sense, so much so that he is able to tap into their sensory inputs and be able to sense what they are sensing. For example, if one of his clones views something relevant, then he could tap into their sense of sight and be able to see everything that they are seeing.
Limits-ReplicationThe problem really with replication is that the more Eric does it, the more strain it puts on the self from which the clones originate. He could easily handle duplicating himself fifteen times but he feels that anything past that without taking a break constitutes as trying to push his performance. Also noted that only the original Eric can spawn clones and as such, if he becomes incapacited then he will find it almost impossible to try and clone himself. In order to provide a valid clone of his entirety, Eric must be conscious and focus heavily on the duplication of his own molecular buildup.
Another thing that has to be taken into account is that these clones mimic his personality, which means that they too will come off as self-absorbed and rather undevoted to the cause. This obviously means that unless he uses his secondary powers, then he will lose immediate control over the clones he has generated because they will feel no relevance to him.
When combining his clones back into his genetic makeup, Eric must have skin contact with the clones meaning that if he does not, then the Clone will continue to roam the world.
The final limit to this ability is that Eric’s clones have a really flawed replication tool which causes them to degrade the instant they are cloned often meaning that they cease to exist within a few days. If Eric does not come into contact with his clones before those days are up, any relevant information and experience will become lost.Hive MindA hive mind is usually a single collection of intelligence and thoughts and this also applies to Eric. Different people have different thoughts, different emotions and different feelings. What he has to be wary of is the fact that Hive Mind could seriously overpower him if he connects to many together. Think of him like a hub, always receiving and transmitting information to other minds on the network; as soon as he gets to overloaded his brain tends to crash and go into a state of near unconsciousness through the stress of connecting all of these minds together
One of the main downfalls of Hive Mind is that it connects everything, even the pain that his clones manage to get themselves into. Due to this, Eric is often in pain where he finds it difficult to deal with the over washing trauma. As much as he wants to admit to being a strong person, Eric is someone who can easily become overpowered by mental pain.
The closer he is to his clones, the better reception he is able to get. What this means is that the closer his clones are, the easier it is to read and implant thoughts in them. The extent of his mind networking is fifty feet; any clones out with that range are unable to be connected to the network of minds
Appearance-The easiest way to describe Eric is scruffy, an appearance that he keeps up in order to sustain a relative collection to his reckless path. He feels that if he remains nice a clean shaven then he will be less respected as a person. Whilst he might not let on that he want’s anyone to care, he cares perhaps a little bit too much when it comes to his appearance. Eric himself is a fairly well built individual, though any definition has since been lost from his body. Several surgical incisions lie across his chest due to a liver transplant sustained from years of drinking. As of right now, Eric stands firmly in at 6’2’’, being capable of seeing above the crowds as well as weighing in at 176lbs.
His hair is a mixture of dark brown as well as some greying due to genetics. It often lies as a messy clump on top of his head, his fringe sticking up and covering his own receding hairline. Along with this, a beard often accompanies his appearance which helps to show off more refined features of his appearance. His hazel eyes also seem to accentuate such features of his appearance.
When it comes to clothing, Eric is fairly comfortable in anything and will simply wears anything which fits the situation and looks good on him. He is a man of professionalism and prefers to keep this by wearing fairly new outfits feeling that any clothes older than a few months are old and ratty even when they might only look brand new

History-Eric was never really the apple of either parent’s eye really. He was simply another nail in an already nonexistent relationship between two people. The only reason his mother and father stayed together for as long as they had was because they knew that none of them would be able to raise a child on their own. Eric seemed to be the glue that was slowly fading away, sticking the relationship together for the time being. Neither one cared for the other and perhaps it was growing up in this environment that changed the way he seen things and perhaps explains why he is so narcissistic and fairly manipulative. Eric had no idea how quickly the relationship between his parents would dissolve once the ball started rolling but it was fair to say that it indeed happened fairly quickly.
His father was never really home and his mother was simply a drunk, uncaring for what he had to say or how he survived for that matter. The alcohol to her was like a cure to all her problems and to call her an unfit parent would have been an understatement. It didn’t take long however for his father to catch onto what was happening and like any sensible parent, he took Eric out of the household and left Eric’s mother feeling that it would be for the best if they went their different ways for the time being. Eric never had the chance to see his mother again.
Growing up with his father Eric was taught many things, such things including how to fend for himself as he was often left alone for hours at a time while his father was out trying to get money. He always provided for Eric, even if he did blame him for ruining his chances at something bigger in life; no one really wanted to mess with a Boxer with a small kid in tow. Eric knew this, always blaming himself for the fact that his father could never really progress in his own profession. Was it an easy burden to take on? Not really; but he took it on none the less.
School really wasn’t much better for Eric, people always thinking him of the weird kid with too many problems to deal with. He never had a problem with bullying, knowing full well that he could kick their asses. He never really found much of a calling at school and it would take many years till he did find one, often leaving teachers lost on the young soul who didn’t know what to do. However, soon that would all change; soon he would find out exactly what was going to make him more important than anyone else he knew.
Eric discovered his ability by sheer coincidence one day when being harassed by a group of larger teenagers who could have easily knocked him out. Simply by wishing for someone being there to protect him, an exact duplicate came rushing out of him, and then another, and then another. The shock of it all really was enough to send each of the boys running in different directions, not knowing what the hell had just happened to the weedy little kid that they were picking on. It was his first semblance of having power and it made him feel important for once. It made him feel special and wanted. Finally for the first time in ever, he had friends; literally a friend in himself.
He practiced his skills day and night, simply trying to get somewhere, wanting to know more and more. He made sure that he was ready for the world that awaited him, the world which seemed to be so afraid of him.
In school he grew more confident with his studies excelling in areas such as computing and biology, though for him it wasn’t enough. He needed to know more than he knew, he simply had to be the best at what he was. He used his powers to know more and more, expand on his knowledge until he became the best, or at least what he assumed was the best. He studied Programming and Anatomy simply because he knew those were the things that he was best at.
After leaving home, Eric moved to New York for a brief period in order to attend NYU on a Genetic Research course. He loved the skills that it gave to him, the people he had the chance of meeting and also using his own skills in order to put himself ahead of the others. Such skills and the manner of his powers put him at the top of his class.
It didn’t take long after his course to develop a drinking problem, unable to come back down from the partying lifestyle of university. As much as Eric wanted to battle the demon of drink, he found it almost impossible knowing that in order to control himself he would have to control the inhibitions of not only himself but all of his clones who seemed to have other ideas in mind. It never really occurred to Eric how much trouble he was in, till he was hooked up on a machine, literally dying the same way his mother was dying. It was only then that he could overcome the drink, and soon enough was offered a second chance at life via a liver transplant.
Soon enough after completing his course and battling his alcoholism, he moved back to L.A. where he now resides as the Chief Medical Examiner at USC University.
Anything else?- (any other important information we should know?)
Sample RP-Life was relatively good for Eric, not only had he managed to become the Chief Medical Examiner but he also had more control over what he could do. Certainly the latter of the two was more important to him, that wasn’t to say that he didn’t value his job because he did immensely. It was just that all of this stuff happening lately, what with the RSF blowing their fricken top everywhere like some spoiled child who had lost control over the situation. He couldn’t really blame them because he would have most likely have done the exact same thing but he doubted he would have reacted as badly.
He moved over to the door in a firm and graceful manner, simply leaving for work. He opened the door only surprised to see an exact duplicate of himself standing on the other side of the door. ”What a surprise, didn’t expect to see you here” he mocked with a sinister grin. It was rare that any of his doppelgangers would be caught in the same location as him but it wasn’t commonly unheard of. The clones themselves were funny like that, always seeming to find a way back home to him. ”Who were you expecting… the cops” he merely answered back in the same mocking tone that Eric himself had used
He simply chuckled lightly to himself as he placed a strong and firm hand on the clone. ”We forget who is in charge here..” he replied with a serious demeanor before allowing himself to absorb the clone back into his entirety, the only thing left standing was the imprint it had left on reality; the knowledge he had gathered simply imprinted itself into his own mind. It was so adorable how they always thought they were in control of him.
Those fools.
