BAD TO GOOD
Trevor Perry was a special that had made one too many mistakes in his life. He was previously living in Vegas and as running a popular club called “P3” while he was working on his music career. Everyone thought he was normal, but he was actually special. He was a villain like so many others. He disappeared on April fourth and for while nobody knew what had happened to him. His sister tried to take over the club for awhile until it finally ran out of business. Sources say that Trevor perry was in a coma that he woke up from just two months later, in June. When he woke up he had no idea where or ho he was. Whatever happened to him gave him full blown amnesia. It was a rare, especially when it came to specials. He was brought to the Jung Facility where they kept him. It wasn’t safe to be out in public when he couldn't remember how to control his dangerous abilities.
Trevor has spent months in Jung, he’s been there since the June he woke up without a trace of who he was. He learned about all the terrible things he had done and wanted to change. He says he didn’t want to be a monster like that anymore and that he just wanted a fresh start. He’s trying his hardest to put the past behind him and is doing good. He’s helping people like him, using his experiences to make other feel better and telling them his story. Now he claims to be a hero, he has used his powers to help wherever he can. I got the chance to sit down with Trevor Perry for an interview and ask him about what happened.
Logan Write and Trevor perry, Jung Facility, March 15th 2011
Write: So, Mister Perry. What was the farthest you can remember? What was going through your mind when you first woke up and coulnd’t remember who you were? I imagine it must have been scary for you.
Perry: Yeah, it was confusing terrifying. Uhm, I woke up in a hospital in Vegas. i had no idea what I was doing there. But when I woke up I had electricity practically zapping off of me. The whole place was having a power surge. I guess i had something to do with it. But i ran into this woman, I guess she knew me, and she took me here to Jung.
Wright: Sounds like you had a lot of power built up. Now, what is your power exactly?
Perry: It’s called elctrokinesis. I can create and manipulate any kind of electricity. It’s not the easiest power to control. I guess the machines i were hooked up to was charging me up like a battery until I woke up.
Wright: Sounds dangerous. Now what can you tell us about your life before your amnesia? I know it’s still pretty foggy for you.
Perry: Yeah, i really can’t remember much of anything. But, after a lot of digging i found out some pretty bad things. I guess i killed people.. using my powers. I read about this couple in Manhattan named Kayla Benton and Blade Bennett that were found singed alive. I was told it was me who did that.
Wright: How did that make you feel? Realizing you were this killer.
Perry: It was a horrible feeling. I didn’t even want to believe it at first.
Wright: And what about about finding out that you killed this girl, Kayla Benton? She was special too. Any idea why you killed her?
Perry: I’m not sure, really. A part of me wishes I could remember but the other part of me is glad I don’t. I’ve seen her pictures, she was beautiful, and for some reason I got this weird feeling when I saw her face.
Wright: Right, and is there anybody from your old life you are in contact with? Maybe like a relative or a friend?
Perry: Yeah, I’ve met my uncle who is this big shot business man and I am always in contact with my sister. She said that it didn’t matter to her what I did. She was just glad I wasn’t lying in a ditch somewhere.
Wright: Sounds like you have some pretty family behind you. How long are you planning on staying here in Jung?
Perry: I don’t know, there’s a part of me that is afraid to leave here. I did kill those people, i should stay here like any person would stay in jail. I’m lucky to not have been arrested. But maybe they’ll let me out for good behavior or something.
Wright: And Mister Perry, are you registered as a special?
Perry: Yes, eventually I did end up registering after the act was passed. If anything ever were too happen to me.. if I wen back to my old ways... I want to be stopped.
Wright: Well, glad to see you are using our Act to fall back on in case anything does happen. I know that this is practically like you doing time and i hope you make I won't ever see your name on our most wanted list.
Perry: Hahaha, yeah. Hopefully you won't any time soon.
Wright: Right, well it was nice talking to you, Trevor. I hope all works out for you.
Perry: Thanks for taking the time to talk to me.
As you can see, Trevor Perry is greatly ashamed of himself for what he has done in his past and just wants to put it all behind him. Obviously it’s no that easy since he did in fact kill so many people. He will most likely stay in Jung for a very long time, there is no telling where he will after or if in fact he ever gets out. He is keeping close ties with his family and has a few friend in Jung that he has gotten close too. We can’t be sure what will happen to him, but I hope he gets a better life at the end of the day. He’s a new man now, from zero to hero.
