Despite being born without the ability to hear, Ava has always been a friendly and active child. Even with the fact she has a disability, Ava is just like any normal little girl. Thankfully she had always been able to grow up around people who weren’t hearing impaired so that she was able to interact better. Ava isn’t able to hear at all, but she does communicate well despite this fact. The girl uses lip reading as a method to understand what those around her are saying, as not everyone is able to use sign language.
Ava is a very good judge of character. Sometimes she can determine what type of person someone is or their natural intentions by looking at them alone. They say that children have a way of knowing things, seeing things that adults don’t always necessarily see and this is true. If Ava doesn’t like a certain individual it becomes very apparent to those around her. Her behaviour shifts drastically. When Ava feels threatened or fearful toward another she often retorts to shy babyish behaviour, often hiding behind others or turning to them for comfort.
Because of the environment that she was bought up in; Ava is a very polite and well mannered little girl. She isn’t one to neither throw tantrums nor cause a scene to get what she wants. The little girl is far to patient for such things. She is not an attention seeker in any kind of way but to say that she doesn’t like attention would be a lie. Every child likes attention. Ava is a very caring and affectionate child who seems to enjoy being close to those who she cares greatly for.
For her age Ava is particularly bright. Though, she often finds people underestimating her because of her disability, kids can be cruel sometimes. But, the little girl knows never to let it bother her. She simply deals with it and plods on with her own life. She’s very mature for a seven year old unlike most children her age who would need frequent entertainment provided by others, Ava is capable of keeping herself occupied. She likes to draw, paint and climb almost anything she can get her hands around. She can often come across as shy but that’s simply because she is cautious. It is truly hard for her to make friends at the best of times because of her incapability to physically communicate with others, so Ava does spend a fair amount of time by herself.
Ava stands at a height of just under 4 feet 3 inches. She is of small build which is surprising since she eats like a horse. Despite having such a love for food, it seems that all that bouncing around and playing has left her with barely an ounce of fat on her bones. But, even though she is thin she still looks at a healthy state.
The little girl doesn’t have any freckles or blemishes up on her face that really stand out. She has a creamy olive complexion, which in the summer tends to bronze out that bit more. Ava has rather large rounded shaped eyes which are of a chocolate brown shade. Her hair is fairly light for her complexion. She has naturally mousy brown hair that is wavy in style and sits just over her shoulders. She is often seen wearing her hair down which she has framing her little face.
Life-Force Manipulation:
This ability to allows Ava to manipulate life-energy. Ava is able of exchanging energy from her own body into that of another and vice versa. By manipulating life force energy, she is capable of both hurrying the healing process or developing the opposite effect. By draining the bodies life force Ava can cause one to become increasingly weak and sometimes even as far as taking there life from them completely. Along with being able to use such energy to heal others the young girl can also use others life forces to heal her own body. All transference's of life force can only be done by physical contact. However, manipulation of life force can occur to those simply within proximity of her own self.
Ava was born in Austin, Texas to Victoria and Anthony Miller. She grew up the youngest of five children. As Ava was the only one of the miller children to be born completely deaf, it seemed that she took up a lot of her parents time. It was hardly something that couldnt be understood since she did need the extra attention. It was hard for her parents to deal with a child who was practically, completely deaf. But, with the right help they were able to find things much easier.
Instead of sending Ava to a special school they decided to allow her to live normally. It wasnt fair to cut her out of the chance of a normal life in fear that she would get rejected. Besides, by allowing her to lead a normal life they hoped it would cause her to be able to interact better with normal children.
Ava grew up in Vegas, apart of a wealthy home where both of her parents worked exceptionally hard to support there family. Aside from Ava being disabled, her parents realised that there was something else to be concerned about. The young girl seemed to be able to do things. Things that others couldnt do. That people shouldnt have been able to do. It all occured during a winters afternoon when Ava was outside playing with her brother.
Her brother Evan had always been one for dicking around. For christmas he was given a pellet gun and during this winter afternoon in particular he decided to toy around with it. During his game he ended up aiming and taking fire on a defensless bird. The bird was injured but soon appeared as if nothing had happened at all. Ava was able to cradle the bird in her hands and when she opened them the bird was as good as new, as if nothing happened at all.
It seemed as if the child was blessed with some kind of miracle. She was able to do the most perculier things. Healing animals and enabling herself to heal when she had become injured. But, it also seemed that she could cause the reverse effect. When Ava got upset things would often suffer in the process. Though her actions were never intentional of course. But, whenever she was sad things would wither and die. Plants at first and then came along the bigger things like animals. Her parents didnt know what to do. So, they opted to do nothing. They just left there child to continue living her life.
