<Alexis Kramer>

Currently Located: Las Vegas/NYC

Alexis is a fairly warm hearted and caring young woman. She has dedicated most of her life to working with children and particularly children with disabilities. She has a gentle nature about her, but do not be fooled by her niceness and assume she is a weak individual. Alexis is a confident woman, and somewhat ballsy at times. She doesn’t take crap from anyone, and often eager to give out her opinions. However, she is the quiet type also. Alexis may have strong opinions, but she is also aware that there is a time and a place. Those around her will take her as the quiet and gentle soul that she is but if you cross her, you’re sure to know about it. She has a mean temper.
Alexis stands at about 5’2. She has straight dark brown hair and light green eyes that work well with her natural fawn complexion. Her physique is somewhat toned and defined, but she doesn’t spend all her time at the gym. Chasing around after Ava is enough exercise in itself but she doesn’t purposefully set out to stay in shape. There is nothing she likes more then vegging out in front of the TV and eating potato chips. If someone paid her to do that, she’d be a happy camper.
Power Negation
With this ability, Alexis is able to exude a psychic signal which negates the part of the brain which allows the use of superhuman abilities. This specific ability of Alexis’s is a by product of Mental Manipulation, as she is able to psychically control the functions of the mind. The reason that this ability is different to basic Power Negation is that it comes with other capabilities of manipulating the brain rather than just being able to switch off others abilities.
Mental Manipulation
Alexis can psychically wipe memories, increase or decrease mental capacity in a subject, and induce unconsciousness, coma or other mental damage.
Alexis was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Samuel and Barbara Kramer. From a young age it became apparent that Alexis was not like other children. Having parents who were special meant that growing up was a lot simpler for Alexis because she had two people to help her fine tune her ‘god’ given ability and learn how to use it in ways to help others much like her parents did.
She was able to lead a relatively normal life and handled her abilities well, but as most people experiencing new abilities she did have her fair share of mishaps and did sometimes use her ability much to her own advantage. For instance, if she’d done something wrong, she was able to make people forget and that would result in lack of punishment that she knew she deserved but the subject did not.
When Alexis was 12, her mother gave birth to a baby sister Jana. Sadly, Jana was born deaf and that became a whole different obstacle entirely for her parents. Jana’s condition inspired Alexis to take an interest in language, more so in America Sign Language. From the tender age of 14 Alexis taught herself, and from then on was able to excel and even go to learn other forms of sign language.
But ASL was not all she really did. Alexis was a bright spark, she went onto college to study other forms of language as well as studying in Aesthetics and Science. She did not graduate from college due to the fact her mother had fallen sick, and with her father working so much to pay bills she had to find a full time job, along with taking care of her sick mother in split shifts with her father and also making sure that Jana was okay.
It wasn’t until 6 months passed where she’d been working 16 hours shifts, 7 days a week that she found a new door opening up for her. A new job that required her ‘skill ‘and passion. She was recruited by the ‘infamous’ company directly being contacted by the head of the sector, Grace Harper. Sue, it meant moving out of Texas, but this job paid better than her previous and on the upside she was putting her skills to use.
