Abilities/Powers/Skills-
Eidetic Memory – Sarah Murphy has the ability to remember and recall any piece of information that she has ever experienced or learned in her lifetime. In order for her power to work she needs to either hear, read, or see it. Otherwise she won’t remember. Her computer works like a computer, the way it isolates useless information to make room for all the things that are more important. Her power is always going on its own, she doesn’t choose what she wants to remember, she just remembers everything.
Psychometry - Sarah also had the power to gain information about anything person or object through touch. When she touches something all the information about that object is stored in her mind. Thanks to her enhanced memory she will never have to worry about forgetting any of the information. When she gains the information she knows where they have been, who they have met, what they have learned, what they have experienced. When it comes to objects, as soon as she has touched them, she gets flashes in her mind instantly of who used it and what it was used for. She never never knows when the power is going to work on its own, sometimes it just happens, but when she focuses hard enough she can simply make it happen.
Limits-
Eidetic Memory – Sarah’s power can only work if she is hearing, seeing, or reading something for her to remember. She has no control of this; her powers are always working on its own. Whatever she reads, she will remember it, and there is something she can do to stop it. Also when she is discussing a certain topic, her memory will spill information out of her mouth that she has remembered that is relevant to the topic. Sometimes her mouth goes into overdrive and she starts recalling all this type of information that she has no control over unless somebody stops her.
Psychometry - The biggest flaw of Sarah’s powers are that she has to come into physical contact with something to gain all its information, the same goes for people. She can’t control when it happens, it is automatic upon contact with another person or object. She will instantly relive whatever the person or object has experienced, in a very fast state, as if time freezes around her. She can recall what has happened, but only out of her enhanced memory. If this power is exploited to much, it hurts Sarah. If she was to constantly use her power she will start getting these massive headaches. The more she uses the power, the longer the pain lasts.
Appearance-
Sarah Murphy has aged about forty-five years but still looks as if she could pass for mid to late thirties. She has an excellent complexion and works out to keep herself fit. She is about five feet, eleven inches tall and weighs about one hundred forty pounds. Sarah believes in working out and keeping herself healthy and in shape. She has long, raven black hair, which goes past her shoulders. Her eyes are baby blue and she has some pretty thin lips with this infectious smile. Her skin tone is somewhere between pale and tanned, she really doesn’t have time to worry about the color of her skin.
Usually, Sarah dresses professionally. She likes to look her best, because she cares to much about what how other people see her. She likes to be taken seriously, so she dresses as good as she can. She tries not to be over the top, she just tries to look good. She often wears clothes from some well known designer, especially if she is going to be at an event or a group gathering. When dressing casually, Sarah still wears sweatshirts and jeans just like any normal civilian would. She doesn’t use a lot of heavy makeup, because she really doesn’t see it as very necessary.
When at work, Sarah Murphy is often seen in her lab coat and wearing her glasses. She does work a lot, so her lab coat seems to always be on her body. She thinks of her lab coat as a symbol of her accomplishment so far in her life. It means a lot to her.

History-
Being born in the Flint family meant you were never allowed to be lonely growing up. Sarah was the third sibling born in her family, and see was the last. The Flint family was always a big family, her father had a lot of siblings but her Mother didn’t want such a huge family, so they stuck with have only three children. Have two older siblings was great for Sarah, she never felt alone. They were all very close, and that was the way her parents liked it. Sure, they had their moments. Fighting over toys or trying to take control over what they would listen to on the radio. But over all they loved each other and where a tight family. They didn’t exactly have a lot of money, meaning Sarah usually got hand-me-downs of her sister’s. But she didn’t complain, because she didn’t want to seem sad around her family. It was hard not having a lot of money to over spend on Holidays or birthdays. Sarah was grateful she at least had three square meals a day and a roof over her head.
Her father was a gardener and a farmer; he loved the nature and the outdoors. They had a greenhouse right in their back yard that her father built himself. Sarah loved to run around outside with her siblings while their father grew his plants and their mother went off to work. Her mother was a nurse in Los Angeles. And a good one at that. One day Sarah was playing with her siblings, pretending to be a Private Eye and was making believe their father was the bad guy, so they were watching them. That is when they saw their father muttering something to a dying bed of flowers, but they suddenly all came back to life like magic. Sarah was so surprised by what she saw that she ended up falling down and hit one of the tables, causing a flower pot to fall. Of course her father heard and then had to explain.
Sarah and her siblings had to sit down with her parents after their mother came home to talk about what they saw. Sarah’s father explained that she was special, and he had this extraordinary power to talk to nature. He could make plants grow, the weather change, and even communicate with animals. It was fascinating to Sarah, she wanted to be able to tell everyone how cool her father was, but her and her siblings were sworn to secrecy. For if anyone else knew about what her father could do, he might be taken away. That same day they were warned that any of them could have special powers in the future, and to be careful. After hearing that she couldn't stop thinking about what it would be like, to be like her dad. But, her father also said there is a good chance none of them will get powers at all. Her sister, Katherine, seemed okay with that.
As time went on, not much happened to the family until Sarah was a teenager. Her brother came home from school ranting about how his class was listening to the radio and all of a sudden he could see the words in the air going into that same radio. He had no idea what was going on with him, but it looked like her older brother, Markus, was the first one in the family to discover he had powers. He could see information in the air that nobody else could, but it wasn’t exactly a useful power around this time. All Sarah ever wanted was to stand out, she wasn’t exactly very popular at school only because she didn’t have a lot of money to her name. Luckily for her, she was smart. She planned on attending University after she got out of high school so she could get out of that snob fest school.
After getting out of High school she knew exactly what she wanted to do, Biomedical research. She wanted to help advance the medicine field. She wanted to make her family proud, especially her mother who in face a nurse. She knew it was going to be hard, but she was going to make it work. She got into the best college for Biomedical Research that she could. It was difficult at first, all the things she needed to know and remember, She struggled at first. When she started getting the most stressed is when suddenly everything got easier for her. All of a sudden Sarah started remembering everything that she read, even is she had just read it once. After that, she started getting straight A’s across the board. She was the best in her class and her life was on a roll. Her Professor thought she was cheating at first, because her turn around was way to successful. But they tested her and she got every answer right. It was as if she was a genius.
After she got her bachelor’s degree, she transferred into another college to work on getting her Masters. There she met Alan Murphy, who was training to become a doctor. It was love at first site for this couple, the first day they met Alan was already asking to take her out on a date. Sarah never really needed to study, being able to remember everything she needed, and she whizzed through all her homework and out of class assignments. So, she had a lot of time for a personal life. She focused on playing the piano a lot of her free time, she played at a club on the weekends to make some extra cash. She even did a lot of tutoring for other students. The only thing that bothered Sarah was the noise of the party goers that lived above her. So, she tended to leap at the opportunity to get out of her dorm. That is where Alan came in.
It didn’t take long for Sarah and Alan to get very serious very quickly. They seemed like the perfect couple, they barely fought, unless it was just over the little stupid things. Alan dropped a bomb on Sarah, telling her that he had this strange gift to be able to understand and speak any language he came in contact with. Of course she could accept it, but it was very ironic considering she had her own powers as well. She told him about how she can remember and recall anything she has learned. He was grateful to hear he wasn’t the only person special in the world. A few months later, Sarah started getting sick in the morning and sore all over. She told her mother about it and said she was pregnant. She couldn't believe it, she didn’t ever dream about getting pregnant this fast with all she had going on. She went to the doctors with Alan and he confirmed it. They were having a baby.
Her brother, Markus, already had four kids at the time. So, he was the nest person she told. When she told her sister about it, she came across as offended because she was the last one to find out. She accused Sarah of not telling her because she wasn’t special. She did everything in her power to convince her otherwise and it took practically a whole week and flight to Los Angeles to convince her. When Sarah got back, Alan did something that Sarah never saw coming. He proposed. He said it was a promise to stick by her no matter what and that someday soon they were going to get married. She kept up with her classes; it wasn’t much of a stress to her. But since she was pregnant she had to take things slow and not get stressed out. That is when she got into yoga.
Months passed and the baby was born, Sarah and Alan named their beautiful baby girl Elizabeth. Soon after she got her Masters and was on her way on getting her PHD. Alan got them an apartment with three rooms that were plenty big enough to hold all three of them. They took things slow for the next three years until Sarah found out she was pregnant, again. This time she was going to have twins, and with just a few months left until she could get her PHD, Alan proposed they get married after she got her diploma. She gladly accepted and they started making arrangements to get married. They waited till after she graduated, finally receiving her PHD in Biomedical studies. She had also minored in engineering and science.
After the twins Andrew and Derek were born, Stayed at home for a while to take care of her three children. She knew she just couldn’t jump into a new career so quickly; she had a family to think about. At the same time she also took classes online to get a diploma for different sciences. She needed something to do in her spare time besides cross word puzzles and piano. She saw a lot of her family around this time while Alan worked as an intern at the hospital in San Francisco. It wasn’t until the twins first birthday passed that Sarah got herself her own lab where she worked on all things related to biomedical research. She loved finally being in charge and she even got to hire her own interns. She was excited to be able to work and find time for her family all the same time.
As things seemed to be going to normal, Sarah and Alan celebrated their three successful years of marriage and ended up conceiving another son named Christopher. They weren’t expecting to have any more kids, but they were too excited about having another baby to care. While she was at home with her kids, she heard a crash and raced down stairs. Her Mother’s antique vase was broken and Elizabeth tried to blame the twins who were in their play pin. When Sarah Murphy touched her daughter’s shoulder to get an honest answer, she saw it in her head. All of Elizabeth’s past experiences and previous history, including the accident with the vase, flashed into Sarah’s mind like a flash drive being downloaded onto a computer. She couldn’t believe she actually had another power.
After Christopher was born, Sarah worried if her kids were all going to have powers, and what would happen to them. Alan shrugged her thoughts off as over thinking and paranoia, which she knew was exactly what her mind was doing to her. She taught her kids well, and the Murphy’s were a very happy family. One day somebody came to Sarah’s lab and asked her for her expertise at a special company for people like her. They were trying to research why some people had powers when so many others did not. She took the job, and spent a few years trying to uncover the mysteries of specials. She had no idea that there were so many more out there. She had never met another special outside her family since she met Alan, and she thought that was just fate bringing them together.
She worked with the company for a few years up until the death of her father. There was a sudden fire at her parent’s old house and it burned to the ground. They both got out alright, but her father’s heart couldn’t take it, and ended up dying in cardiac arrest. With Alan becoming a hotshot doctor and bringing in a lot more money, they were able to get a much bigger place. The bought a very nice house in Los Angeles with five bedrooms and Sarah’s mother moved in with them. She knew she need to spend more time with her family, she couldn’t just work all the time with three kids and now her mother living with them. That was around the time where her eldest Daughter, Elizabeth, manifested her powers. She suddenly had the power to see into future upon touching something.
One night, around midnight, Sarah and Alan heard something shatter downstairs. Alan went down with a baseball bat and Sarah took a gun that was hidden under the bed and went to gather the kids. She heard the struggle, Alan was in trouble. Her daughter said that her father was going to die if she didn’t hurry, so she ran downstairs with the gun. When she got to the kitchen she found Alan, dead. The killer was still there, saying that he was looking for Sarah. He accused her of being responsible what happened for him. He said he was in a lab where they did experiment on him, but Sarah never experimented on people. He said she was lying, he was starting to light up, as if he was about to explode. She quickly pulled the trigger of her gun and shot him clear in the forehead, instantly killing him. Her family was safe for now, but her husband was still dead.
After Alan’s funeral, somebody came to her, saying they were with Ark Industries. They wanted Sarah to join them as their biomedical expert. They promised her family would be safe, and that nobody was going to come after her or her family again. She agreed, and loved her new job. She liked what the organization stood for and was proud to be a part of it. She got the job of her dreams and still had time to make sure her family was taken care of. The sorrow of losing her husband slowly drifted away, it only hurt less and less as time passed, but she still felt like a part of her was missing. When one of the twins, Andrew, manifested the power to astral project, she needed help more than ever. Lucky for her she was confident and managed to handle it all by herself. Not too long after that, the other twin, Derek, manifested the power to read minds. She did her best to help all her kids with their powers, and eventually they gained the control they needed.
On April fourth, all the civilians of the world inherited a special power for about two minutes. This also included Sarah’s mother, who gained the ability to turn invisible. Sarah’s eldest daughter, Elizabeth, warned them something tragic was going to happen today. The family was celebrating Sarah’s youngest son, Christopher’s, birthday. All of his friends were there and all gained a power as well. Needless to say that Sarah was thankful the party was outside because of the lucky good weather. As all the chaos was going around, they couldn’t find Sarah’s mother anywhere. When the madness stopped, Andrew found Sarah’s mother was outside with them the whole time, watching. After that, nothing was ever really the same in America. The registration act has recently been put into effect and Sarah Murphy is trying to personally figure out what the cause of April fourth was. Along with trying to keep her family safe, now more than ever.
Anything else?- She is closest to her nephew, Jack Flint.

Sarah Murphy sat at her desk in from of her computer, carefully taking a sip of her coffee as her eyes skimmed down her screen. It was just another one of her many online tests so she could get another degree. Now she was going for science, she knew having steady background knowledge of science would help her later when she was a big biomedical researcher. She already looked over everything she needed for this test. Having the power to remember everything you have heard, seen, or experienced was indeed a very handy power to have. With her husband being an intern at the local hospital, Sarah knew deep down she was going to have to find a way to get more money, and fast.
As she was digging down, answering her test questions quickly but carefully, she heard something fall over and smash in the living room. Sarah didn’t waste any time as she hoped out of her seat and raced out of the office room of her house and down the hall. When she arrived to the living room, she saw her Mother’s antique vase was shattered all over the floor. Her eldest daughter Elizabeth was standing only a few feet away and the twins were in their play pin a few feet farther from the mess than Elizabeth. Her daughter had that rather guilty face; it didn’t take a genius to see what happened here.
She took a few steps over to Elizabeth, who was hanging her head in utter shame and was pouting dramatically. She kneeled down on the ground to come into eye contact with her, looking her directly in the eyes. Of course she wouldn’t even look at her mother. She sighed rather heavily and gave her a sympathetic but also serious expression. “Lizzy, do you know what happened to Grandma’s vase?” She asked her, continuing attempting to look her daughter in the eyes. She nodded and then lifted her head slightly, looking over to the twins and she pointed her finger directly at them. “The twins did it, Mommy!” She explained, her face was still putting but now it was in an even moodier way. She shook her head, knowing it was practically impossible for the twins to get out of their play pin, break the vase, and escape back without Sarah seeing them.
She simply shook her head, she knew Elizabeth was just trying to get herself out of getting in trouble. “Lizzy…” She muttered as she reached her hand to touch her on the shoulder. That’s when it struck her, in her head. Suddenly she saw flashes in her head. Memories and experiences of Elizabeth, all that she has seen or done downloaded into Sarah’s head like a computer. She even saw Elizabeth running around and tripping over the table, thus knocking over the vase. Once the flashing stopped, her head hurt. She held her head, overwhelmed by what just happened.
She knew her mind was like a computer, the way she could store so much information into her mind, but she never imaged it would turn into anything else. She then remembered what she had read in activating evolution. There was power called psychometry, which you could learn the history of an object or person just by touching it, which is exactly what just happened. She wasn’t sure how to feel about having another power, he mind was still racing.
“Mommy, are you okay?” She heard Elizabeth asking her, she had a look of worry in her eyes. Sarah almost didn’t know how to answer that, but she then embraced her child into a hug without a word. “Yes, honey, everything is going to be fine.” She explained, though her serious face at the time was starring off into worry about what else she could possibly be capable off. She knew she was going to have to tell Alan about this, and wasn’t sure what he was going to say once he found out. Hopefully she was actually going to be able to control this power; unlike the power she already has working on its own.
