Personality-
Neve is a pretty tough nut to crack. This girl is not the kind of person you can walk up to and have a casual conversation with. She’s the type who prides herself on being different and being alone because she believes that other people will merely try to influence her way of existing. Neve is a painfully quiet girl at times, getting words out of her is often like trying to get blood from a stone. However, she is no pushover. This girl will stand her ground, she most certainly has a voice and if she feels the need to unleash it...she will and she won’t hold back doing so. Though, there is the off occasion where she will break her ‘vow’ of silence and have a somewhat normal conversation with others, because let’s face it...sometimes everyone needs to talk to someone other than themselves. Neve is incredibly opinionated and has no problem showing this facet of her personality. In fact, she has virtually no problem joining in on a movement to help out a cause that she believes in. Neve has absolutely no problem putting herself in a risky or dangerous situation. She can be extremely lion-hearted and absolutely daring; Neve has no zero problems with laughing in the face of danger.
She is a loner an doesn’t really care about fitting in. In fact she likes being different and prides herself on being different in as many ways as she can be she’s proud to be special. She is very rebellious when it comes to rules and doesn’t find herself conforming to other peoples ways because she believes all have the right to live there life how they should. Neve doesn't believe in being controlled. She doesn't like the fact that the government can dictate what people can do. Neve believes wholeheartedly in the absence of government, and feels as though society would be better off run by the people rather than a few corrupt individuals. Furthermore, Neve enjoys pressing her luck and seeing how far she can actually get while testing law officials. She has definitely been known to disrespect authority figures and law enforcement officials, and will no doubt go to great lengths to push other people's buttons just to see their reaction. She doesn’t like bullies or people who prey on the weak and is very confrontational when it comes to defending others and herself. She doesn’t really mind getting into scraps or heated arguments because she sees it as a way of proving herself. When Neve has her mind set to something she often lets her emotions get the best of her. She's quite the pistol and often has to deal with her temper flaring up, even at the mention of a single word that she finds distasteful.
Neve isn’t completely cold hearted and callous, she does have a softer side but never shows it as it is a form of weakness to her; she’s even like it with her family or any kind of friends she may have. She is quite emotionally distant and hard to figure out because she rarely shares how she is feeling or displays any kind of emotion. However, when Neve does form friendships, she treats them very seriously. She will go to great lengths for her friends and is extraordinarily loyal and protective. Neve is most certainly prone to laughter on the occasion. She may be hard faced but she also has a wicked sense of humour at the best of times. Neve can be very childish and likes to play practical jokes even if it is at the expense of someone else. She’s street smart and quick witted. She likes to make a pest of herself merely for attention because all in all she does like the spotlight a little too much for someone in her position (being special and unregistered) it’s risky.

Abilities/Powers/Skills-
Aerokinesis
Neve's primary ability allows her to mentally control air and wind currents. She is able to create blasts of wind and is also able to maintain a sense of control on the strengths of these blasts. Neve can create a small wisp of wind or a strong gale-force blast. She is also able to create a vacuum of sorts that can potentially suck and move her opponents while also suffocating them. Neve, herself, is able to resist most forms of wind pressure. Finally, Neve is also able to glide along her own wind currents, effectively allowing her to fly in a sense.
Aerial Assimilation
Neve’s ability has two main parts that make it work. The first and most important part is a sort of wind-sense, which allows her to sense where winds are blowing. For example, she could stand outside on a moderately windy day and 'follow' the wind mentally, getting hazy pictures of the places it blows through. If any of these are to her liking, she can focus on a spot, where she wishes to reappear, allowing her to dissolve her molecular structure, and travel through the wind, not entirely unlike a series of electrical signals, and subsequently reassembling herself at the spot she has chosen.
Strangely enough, the air that occupied the space that her body appears is sent back to the place where she used her powers to disassemble, as a strange form of feedback. This little oddity can occasionally cause a very brief but strange shift in temperature and humidity, but never enough to actually be significant.
Limits-
Aerokinesis
Even though Neve can resist blasts of wind directed at her, she is obviously unable to resist the force of incredible acts of nature. Neve will ultimately be overpowered by hurricanes and tornados. In addition, as stated before, Neve can only glide through the use of this ability. Full-fledged flight is not possible. Furthermore, Neve must be careful with her use of aerokinesis and the environments she uses it in. Air currents are natural conductors for electricity and she could easily electrocute herself if she was careless.
Aerial Assimilation
Through the use of this ability, Neve is only able to re-assimilate herself at a maximum, half a mile away. Neve is not able to re-assimilate herself from one continent to the next. She cannot be standing in New York City and appear in London. Furthermore, Neve must be mindful of any thunder and lightning storms. If she is caught in one, it would result in de-similation and would most certainly cause her an immense amount of pain. In addition, Neve finds it incredibly difficult to attain a good sense of wind currents during heavy weather like a lightning storm.
Appearance-
Neve stands at around about 5’5. She has very light blonde hair, which is long in length and naturally wavy in style. Neve doesn’t spend hours at a time in the mirror, primping and preening herself. She often has a very unkempt look about her, because she doesn’t see the point in wasting time trying to look for good when no one is going to care anyway at least of all her. She wears minimal makeup on her naturally pale skin, though she does tend to make her bright blue eyes the focal point of her face. She loves heavy eye shadow, particularly favouring the Smokey eye look but sometimes even goes for brighter shades mostly blues and greens.
When it comes to style, she doesn’t follow fashion. No. Neve is always seen in a pair of jeans. She would never be seen in a dress or a skirt and if wearing shorts would wear tights with them. It’s not that she doesn’t like her body, but she just prefers to cover it up. She goes for a casual look, of jeans and tank tops. A comfy pair of converse will do her nice but, out of all kinds of styles Neve prefers the rock chick look. She loves wearing her favourite pair of leather lace up biker boots, leather fingerless gloves, her studded belt and a sick leather jacket to top the look.

History-
Geneva Angelica Lucinda Valmont was born in Beaumont, Puy-de-Dôme, France, on April 17th 1990 to parents: Kerry-ann Tuttle and Gerard Valmont. Neve moved to the USA with her family, shortly after she was born.
Gerard was an architect, and the first month after Neve was born he’d decided to work from home just so that he could help out. However, it wasn’t long term and after eight weeks he returned back to his head office to work alongside his team. Neve was in her mother’s capable hands, however, it became apparent in early days that Kerry struggled deeply with forming a bond with her child. With Gerry at work, Kerry often found herself incapable of dealing with Neve, to the point where she wouldn’t even pick her up and would have to call on Gerry’s mother to come and help her.
She was distant, from not only Neve but Gerry too which caused the man to be increasingly concerned. He’d tried to convince Kerry to go to therapy, but she insisted that everything was okay and that she was just new to everything. Kerry held Neve for the first time when she was 9 months old and for all those months in between had slowly been nearing herself to do it. However, upon holding her child, again she felt no real connection with her which caused for bigger problems.
She began to get quite neglectful, while Gerry was at work and had no longer called upon his mother, because by doing so Gerry would have known of her struggles. She was embarrassed that she couldn’t take care of this baby, but it just didn’t feel right to her. It was as if Neve wasn’t hers, she felt nothing for her. Gerry arrived home a few times to find Neve crying the house down and Kerry off sound asleep. Things got to the boiling point when Neve was just two years old and Kerry had taken her shopping, only to return alone because she’d accidently left Neve behind back at the store.
Gerry had to do something, so he forced his wife to go to counselling because he really had no idea of what to do anymore. Kerry reluctantly accepted and set out to her first session but insisted going alone, however, after her session when Gerry tried to call her..there was no answer. He went looking for her, and found that she hadn’t even gone. It wasn’t until he’d gotten home that he discovered her things were gone and so was Kerry. All that was left was a note simply saying sorry.
Neve was practically raised by her father and her grandparents. Her father had to work to put food on the table, so she’d spend most of the days with her grandparents and really only seen her father on the evenings and most weekends. But, to be honest her upbringing was fairly sound, despite being abandoned by her mother at a young age.
For most of her younger years, Neve was a very well mannered and pleasant young girl. However, as she got a little older and she began to get a little more defiant and naturally wanted to do more things for herself. The thing with Neve was that she was never really the kind of person to conform. Whilst other girls played with dolls and chased boys, she would be drawing or doing something creative. Neve was an artistic child who liked to paint and read and also loved music, so it was no surprise that she took up the Violin at a young age neither.
School life was average for Neve, she was a good student who worked hard but seemed to struggle when it came to bonding with others. Neve wasn’t used to doing activities with other young people, she spent most of her time with her grandmother or her father so generally missed out on a lot of that ‘childhood’ fun. Not that she didn’t have a choice but just that Neve felt she was always too grown up for it. It didn’t interest her. So, because of this, she wasn’t relatively popular in school...some may have even said she was an outcast and to be honest, Neve liked it. If anything, it encouraged her further to continue with what she was doing.
She was raised to believe that only you could truly love yourself and that it didn’t matter what others thought of you. Sure, sometimes it was hard, what with name calling and only having yourself to really rely on but over time it got easier all she had to do was keep her chin up and carry on. Her trouble at school did not reflect at home, she was once more well behaved and pleasant to have around. She and her dad would hang out; they’d go on fishing weekends and go camping. That was until Neve started hitting her teens. It went without saying that Gerry wouldn’t entirely understand what she was going through and without her mother around and finding it embarrassing to talk to her grandmother, Neve started to suffer quite a lot. Her emotions were running high, her body was changing and she really had no one to confide in.
So, her behaviour started to get worse. At school her grades began to slip, she was getting into trouble for fighting and being caught up in all kinds of confrontation with not just pupils but staff included and she fought a lot with her father. When Gerry thought Neve couldn’t get any worse, her mother popped back up. Neve was livid, to say the leas to find her mother strolling back into her life as if nothing ever happened and worse still, she had another child, another daughter. She felt rejected, replaced and disgusting. Her mother had fobbed her off and now had this new little girl who she doted on.
Neve found herself becoming extremely introverted and closed off. She didn’t want her mother in her life, not now, not ever but on top of that she also appeared to push everyone else away from her. She was a true loner. As years went by, she got worse; she became more reckless, more distant from her family until eventually they saw very little next to nothing of her. She dropped out of school, simply refusing to go and was also sent to therapy because her dad feared she had some form of depression. Neve didn’t, she just preferred to be by herself. As far as she could see there was nothing wrong with that.
At seventeen years old and with no school to go to or job to attend, Neve would spend hours in front of the TV. From the point where Gerry would go to work and come back, she’d have barely moved at all unless it was to eat. Gerry put up with it because he was scared, because Neve was all he had and he knew that things were hard for her but he just wasn’t sure what to do or how to confront such a hormonal wreck of a daughter he had. Eventually, he just got tired of arguing with himself and confronted her. Neve didn’t really have much to say, but what she did say seemed to settle Gerry because for the first time in about six years, his daughter actually told him that she loved him and was grateful for being there. But, if he was looking for an explanation to her behaviour, she couldn’t give it to him...because, this was just the way she was now.
Funnily enough, Gerry could live with that. Just knowing that his daughter didn’t think he was a complete failure helped and strangely, those three small words seemed to mend any problems that were between them. Non-surprisingly Neve got sick of day time TV and found herself a job in a music store. Neve loved music; in fact she believed that music and art were the reasons behind her still breathing, because in the harder days she often distracted her mind from all the bother. Neve had been working at Spillers Records for a few months now, it was a small store and only employed a few staff and she’d only gotten the job because her father used to go to school with the owner.
She was closing up one windy Friday evening, when she was attacked by a guy in a mask. She had the store takings bagged and ready to drop off; the young man wrestled the bag from her hand and made a run for it. Now, Neve wasn’t the type of girl who’d just accept being advanced on like that so, she chased him down. She found herself wrestling the bag of money bag out of the guy’s hand, who then pulled out a flick knife. In most cases, a girl like her (a girl who was fairly small built and fragile looking) would have backed down but she didn’t. The thief pursued her once, wielding his blade trying to goad her out of handing over the money.
Neve didn’t give in; she wouldn’t have even considered it. Regardless of the blade, she was too damn proud to let someone take advantage of her. In fact, the thought of him trying to take advantage of her and having the nerve to think he could, just because she was a young girl pissed her off. The woman squared her eyes on him, finding her blood boiling and the slight wind around her began to grow heavy, whilst picking up speed and before she knew it, this guy was thrown on his back by a gust that came out of nowhere. She just thought it was dumb look and was quick to leave him there for someone else to deal with but over a course of days, others strange occurrences began to take place which eventually led her to realise that she wasn’t like other people. all these years she’d spent trying to be different and it appeared that she had one of the biggest differences of all, something to surely divide her from the regular old people...she was special.
Anything else?- Her real name is; Geneva (pronounced jeh NEE vah) which she shortened to Neve. Her father still calls her Geneva.
Sample RP-
The streets of New York were always busy, never was there a time where she could remember herself being the only person walking these pavements. In the day you found yourself brushing shoulders with the business people and by night well, she didn’t like to label the types who hung out on these streets but they were also ‘working’ class you could say. She wasn’t one to judge, what a person did with their life was there business, not hers. She especially hated when these streets were milling with people, to the point where you couldn’t walk in a straight line without brushing shoulders with another body and these people didn’t care about you, they didn’t care if they bumped you too hard. Nope, because they were busy. Somehow, there life was much more important than your own and if you were knocked on your ass because they had places to be, that was your own damn fault.
Neve didn’t stick out all too much in these crowds; she was pretty short and was always dressed in dull colours which meant that she blended well, sometimes so well that she just passed by unnoticed. She didn’t mind not being the centre of attention, if she wanted the attention she could easily grab it. For a little person, she sure did have a set of lungs on her. So, she walked these streets as she did everyday on her way to the music store. It was her day off, but she figured she’d go blow some of her wages on records because what was life without music?
She was dressed in a pair of dark grey stonewashed jeans, a white hemmed tank top, with a black zipper hoodie over the top and a pair of black converse. Often she would be seen in her biker boots, but today she was feeling particularly lazy and opted for a very dressed down look. Her hood was pulled up, covering the thick mounds of blond curly hair beneath. Some strands were able to creep past the hood, enough for people to tell that she was a girl and not just some weird guy who liked a bit of heavy on the eye shadow.
Neve was in blissful ignorance to the world spinning around her, she was too enthralled by the pleasurable sounds of music in her ears. Her iPod sat comfortably in the pockets of her hooded jacket as she slowly bounced her way along the street with a lolly pop stuffed in her mouth. She had a real bad sweet tooth, if she could she’d have eaten skittle for breakfast but her dad constantly ragged on her over it and the fact she’d lose all her teeth by the time she was thirty. She still brushed and flossed every day and her dentist checkups were regular, regardless of all the candy she chomped, her teeth were cavity free. So tall that bullshit about sugar being bad for you was indeed utter bullshit.
She continued to walk along, finding herself having side step out of the way of a few eager passersby but one unfortunate managed to clip her in mid step and knocked her flat on her arse. Neve fell back, as she did the iPod dropped out of her pocket and bounced on the pavement, cracking a split up the side of it. Her eyes narrowed, her brow furrowed and her top lip curved upward...oh, she was pissed. The blonde ripped the ear phones from her ears and eyed the iPod, lifting it up; she inspected it to find quickly that it was pretty much fucked.
If she could blow smoke out of her nostrils, she would have right now. The blonde turned her head, eyes locking on like a target to the back of the guy who’d bumped into her and was now half way down the street. Well, he could walk away but he was going to pay for his own ignorance. Lifting herself up off the floor, she stuffed the iPod back into her pocket and started back the way she came, ducking and dodging bodies as she rushed toward the man. She was a woman on a mission now. Neve neared closer to the man and once close enough, found him stopping at a set of traffic lights with a group of people. She slowly stepped between the bodies and skilfully slipped her hand into his suit pocket. Score! A wallet. Now, Neve didn’t condone stealing, but this wasn’t stealing if you thought about it, this was compensation for her loss. He was at fault; it was only right he pay for the damage.
The blonde curled her fingers around the wallet and gently eased it out of his pocket. She managed to get it, which wasn’t a surprise because she’d done this before in a similar incident. Also, on top of that she’d sometimes do it for practise or because she could, which was funny because she wouldn’t just sneak the wallet out but would sneak it back in too. Neve would have gotten off with this one if it wasn’t for the nosey old bitch behind her. She heard a gasp and found herself grimacing slightly as she heard the voice to follow “Thief! That girl has your wallet!” she bellowed and right down Neve’s ear.
With a pained expression she found herself disregarding the fact she’d been caught and more toward the fact that she’d just been deafened by this woman’s deathly voice. Neve shoved her finger in her ear, shooting daggers at the old bat. The man grabbed out at her wrist, to which Neve tugged her arm downward freeing herself from his grip. She ducked down as the man lunged for her. Neve dropped to her knees and managed to scurry through the gap between his legs before springing to her feet behind him.
Neve chuckled and began to run away, just as the lights turned red so that she could avoid the traffic. She ran across the crossing with the suited man in hot pursuit and many of eyes following her as she darted through the crowds. Neve had the biggest grin painted on her face, as she sped through crowds of people, the adrenaline pumping away as she sprinted up the road. A few times she slowed down so that the man could get closer to her, merely for the rush of blood that moved to her head each time she thought she was going to be caught. This was one hell of a buzz, to do something you knew you could get into trouble for.
She loved taking risks, that was what life was all about and the rush you got from doing it was alike no other. It wasn’t as if she was hurting anyone, she was just a mere menace to society at times and that was okay by her book. She had a line and she had yet to cross it. This was some harmless fun, besides; maybe he’d consider opening his eyes in future so that people like she (who maybe didn’t have as much money as he did because his wallet was packed like a brick) wouldn’t have to keep forking out to replace things after they’d been broken by the careless ways of others.
Another set of lights and the man was now close on her tail. She ran into the road now not wanting to be caught, but not realising that she had actually run into traffic. She thought she’d be scared, because it was a terrifying and life threatening move to make. Her heart raced as cars seemed to struggle to stop for her; she dodged and dipped between a few, horns blaring, tires screeching before being stopped in her tracks by a cop car that stopped dead out in front of her.
Neve stopped; there was nowhere else to go. She was stood right beside the cop car, both pigs looking at her. With the three of them squaring off looks like that, was very much like a western show down. God, if only she still carried that lighter shaped like a gun around with her that would have been seriously epic. Her eyes lit up with excitement as she challenged both cops with a smirk. They began to unfasten their seatbelts as the man came rushing behind her “She took my wallet! Stop her!” he yelled. She her head quickly to face him, locks of golding blonde flicking free as the hood fell from her head. She didn't look much like a criminal right now, just a young 'innocent' woman. She turned a glance toward him as he ran across the street toward her. Quickly shifting her eyes back to the cops, she watched both get out of the vehicle and waited.
The first cop and the suited man were ready to grab her whilst the other cop rushed around the car to get to her. Neve jumped forward, planting her foot left foot on the car bonnet and sprung herself upward before disappearing into the air, in a mere puff of thin wispy smoke.
