Personality-
At the core of Georgie, there is one thing that she holds above everything else; the need to fit in. There’s not a shyness in her by any means but she feels that if she keeps to herself and keeps her head down then she can actually progress more in life. The spotlight has never been for her and if anything, she tries to divert the spotlight onto others. When it comes down to it, Georgie is able to blend in with a crowd and able to keep her opinion on matters under wraps for fear of rocking the boat too much. Never will you find her say a word out of place and in fact most of what she does say is often abstract and sits on the fence quite nicely.
For the most part, Georgie can be a bit of a recluse, choosing the company of her own thoughts above the company of other people. The fact that she doesn’t dare speak unless she’s spoken to help to fix this into place, her reclusive nature making her quiet and often broody towards some subjects.
Georgie’s mind is a very clouded place and it really does show. Often, she will speak about something and then veer on a direct tangent onto something else before forgetting about what she was talking about in the first place. Even the way she speaks is a bit of a mish-mash of things, her mind often becoming cluttered when trying to explain how something works leading to a very vague description of something (“you just stick that doohickey in this thingamabob and it does stuff”). Quite often, she will find herself become distracted with a task, dropping it to do the next thing in succession which for the most part explains the clutter in her apartment.
Regardless of what she might be, Georgie always tries to be the peacekeeper of a situation, doing anything she can to save everyone else’s asses before ever thinking about saving her own. Rarely does she ever show a drop of self-preservation when it comes to jumping in the way of other people’s problems; for her it is the only scrap of humanity that she has left in her and she wants to hold onto it for as long as she can. Protecting people the way that other people protected her over the years ensures that she never loses her way or lose grip of who she is.
Abilities/Powers/Skills-
Ingenious Design; Georgie’s mind is able to allow her to build technologies far beyond her years with things scattered about in her immediate area. Her mind works in such a way that it is able to take the pieces of an object within her grasp and redesign it with a different purpose, whether that be more suited for her situation or not. Essentially if you give her a variety of kitchen appliances, then she’ll be able to build you a freeze ray. In her eye, everything appears as blueprints to a certain technology as opposed to what it actually is. Always functioning her abilities give her a mind-set that allows her to build feats of technology which are far more advanced than anything that’s being built nowadays.
Mechanical Intuition; As well as being able to take apart and rebuild machines from scratch with only an idea in her head, Georgie is also capable of getting behind the wheel of a piece of technology and master it within a few hours. It doesn’t really matter what you throw at her, the instant she’s left alone, her mind will begin to examine and dissect the technology, picking apart at any flaws it has as well as figuring out how to use it to its fullest capabilities. It’s like having the instruction manual for every living thing ever to have been invented stuck in your head. Tying in with her primary ability, this allows her to be able to master any technology as well as being able to repair it with anything that she can find nearby.
Limits-
Ingenious Design; A wandering mind can be a dangerous thing, and the idea is only reinforced when it comes to Georgie. Most of her plans and technologies often fall apart at the wayside because her brain becomes bored and yearns for something more. Her spare bedroom is just a who’s who of discarded side projects that she cannot find the will to start up again. Stimulating her brain can be a task in itself; things like caffeine and sugar affect the way she works and can often send her into more tangents and become less focused and unhinged. Another thing she’s noticed is that she can no longer admire things the way she used to without picking it apart with her brain and looking for a way to make it better. In other words, her technology obsessed mind is so obsessed that it becomes snobby to anything that is less than perfect
Mechanical Intuition; So when it comes to mastering the technologies she finds, it does tend to vary depending on how complex the technology and the systems it holds are; in essence it becomes much easier to understand the inner workings of a toaster than the inner workings of a nuclear reactor. The time itself decreases when she is actually exposed to the inner workings of the technology and the time increases if she can’t get her hands on it to properly observe it. Her intuitive knowledge is limited to machines only, meaning she can’t pick up a crossbow and figure out how it works without properly learning how to.
Appearance-
Georgie racks up a bit taller than average at 5’5’’ whilst weighing just a little under 130lbs. Whilst never really into the whole ideal of exercise, she does look after herself pretty well. Her hair falls just under her shoulders and is often seen as a soft brown but over the years she has been noted to change the way she looks a lot.
To put it simply, Georgie doesn’t put a lot of effort into what she wears and more often than not will wear cargo pants, regardless of what people might think. Due to the fact that she does like to thinker, she prefers to wear grimey things so as to quickly clean herself up if she should ever encounter a spill or something of the sort. Most of her colour scheme focuses on the dark greens and greys, colours which she can use to blend into a crowd and also the darkness.

History-
Georgie was never supposed to have an exciting life. The fact of the matter was that her life didn’t start with much excitement and was instead regretfully very plain. The only real thing worth noticing was the fact that Georgie’s father was several years older than her mother when she was conceived. Back then her mother was a Junior in college and her father was working the meaningless nine-to-five of an insurance salesman.
From the get go of Georgie’s life, her parents did their best by her and tried to make her feel included in everything that they did. They didn’t believe in lying to their child, especially when it came to answering the more difficult questions in life. Luckily though, she never really thought to ask the hard questions until she was older because she was just having too much fun being a toddler and doing things that toddlers normally do for fun. The most she ever had to think about back then was what time lunch was going to be and whether or not cartoons would be on later.
Going into school, Georgie was always the quiet kid; the one who preferred to stand in the background and watch others. To her people were the scariest people in the world. Up until now she had not had to deal that much with people her own age. That’s not to say she didn’t try though, because she did try to make a conscious effort to involve herself in the things that the other children were doing.
As she got older, she alienated herself further and further, choosing to spend her lunchtimes catching up with homework or just reading. The people inside the books she read seemed to be more fascinating than anything that was waiting for her outside, so she stuck to what she felt comfortable with. Needless to say when she got into high school she was seen as the weird kid; a social outcast by any stretch of the imagination. She didn’t mind the glaring looks she got from them though because she knew that she was better than them in so many ways. The way people made fun of her seemed to escalate over the high school years, but she bit her tongue each and every time, knowing that someday this would all be a passing thought in her head.
With a high school diploma, Georgie set off on her own little adventure. All those quiet days where she thought out her plans she couldn’t help but to feel that there was more to this world than the boroughs of New York, she just needed to go out there and find it for herself. Quickly packing away everything she would ever need into a duffel bag, she set of in search of her great big something knowing that it would be waiting for her just as soon as she got to wherever she needed to go.
Her journey took her to different parts of the country, allowing her to see the natural wonder of the world as well as see the true good that people had to offer the world. With each town she crossed, she found a new person willing to help her in some way, whether that be something simple as a cup of coffee or whether it came in the form of companionship.
The latter is what she came across when she found herself in Oregon. There she found company in the form of Iliana Moriarty, a sweet girl who was just as curious about the world as she was. Back then she knew that there was something there, something unspoken and real. The fact of the matter was that this girl who she had come across entirely by accident was as close to a great big something as she’d ever hope to find. As time passed, their friendship grew into something more, something far stronger.
It was not to last though.
Soon after her 27th birthday, Iliana fell ill. At first it looked like she was going to be fine and they’d be out before she even knew it. Soon though, those days turned into weeks and Iliana just got more and more sick. It wasn’t long after that the doctors found a growth in her brain. Knowing that this wasn’t going to be the end of their journeys together, Georgie kept telling her that she’d get better. But she never did. One day her body just stopped trying to fight the growth inside her head and her heart stopped beating.
Growing angry at the world for what it had done to her, Georgie became a recluse; there was no point in having another journey without her companion by her side and whilst years have passed, Georgie is no closer to finding the answers she wants. What she has done though, is finally forgiven the world for taken what she holds most dear in the world. Almost weeks after her abilities began to spring up, Georgie assuming it to be a burst of rejuvenated energy.
Sample RP-
Georgie tightened the final bolt on the machine, her body seemingly aching whilst overcome by the feeling of accomplishment. With the final precautions in place, the girl took a few steps back to take a look at what she had just built, a sly smile worming its way onto her lips. It was the first time she’d actually managed to finish one of these new projects without becoming distracted.
What she had built seemed similar to one of those small battle robots that nerds often raced around the arena whilst trying to destroy the other robot in the arena. However, what the other robots didn’t have was a flamethrower attached to the front of it (of course then it would have been illegal in not only the eyes of the aficionados but maybe also the law). Taking a small rag from a tray cast aside to her left, she began to rub the dirt and grime of her hands as her brain whirred with ideas on how to improve it. Needless to say, she didn’t really want to give into the perfectionist nature that her abilities had stuck her with.
In her eyes it was as good as it was ever going to be, even if she kept telling herself differently.
A few moments later, she bounced over to the remote control she had tweaked for the robot and turned it on, allowing the machine to roar into life as a small burst of flame peeked from the front. Testing the manoeuvrability of the machine, she lurched it all around the room, following it all the while. The tracks were causing it to move a bit sluggishly; maybe there was room for improvement after all.
