Rules for Posting in the Goodbye Thread
1) Only post here if you are really leaving the game for good (i.e., you know that you will not be returning).
2) This is a thread for people to say their goodbyes to whomever is leaving.
3) If you leave the game and then return, your characters will be subject to the reapplication process which includes re-review of their bios.
4) If you post here and then return, your characters will not be subject to receiving a strike for failure to announce your absence. So it really is in your best interests to post here if you are planning on leaving; you never know if you might come back.
5) If you leave and then return, your post count and money total be at zero. Also, if you played multiple characters you will only be able to resubmit one and will only be able to gain the others by having the correct total of post counts. If you return, even if it's a week later or a year, you will still be accounted for as a 'NEW' member.
If you post in the goodbye thread then your character will be inactivated. This means that you will no longer have your character. Do not post in the goodbye thread unless you are certain of your decision. If you do happen to sign the goodbye thread and then decide to change your mind right after posting it, you will get a strike for wasting staff time.
(THE ABOVE HIGHLIGHTED POINT DOES NOT APPLY TO MEMBERS WHO HAVE ACTUALLY LEFT AND THEN RETURNED)
Thank you,
The Staff

Over Xmas and New Years I got a job on a cruise ship, I said I would see how it would go as to whether or not I would stay on this site or not. I tried it then, but internet access was too few and far between that when I got back from said job, I was totally lost. I found out that they had given me another contract and I have tried to keep up with this site, but its not really possible, also, I'm working on the ship for 5 months, so its not like it was before and a quick 6 week vacation from the site, this is a loonnnnng time. I dont think I can contribute and I dont think its fair to the board or the players that I stay on as staff OR as a player. So it comes with a heavy heart that I say, I am leaving this site as a player.
for the past couple of weeks I have been trolling the cbox and will prolly still do that, but I cant commit to threading with people, and leaving them hanging while I find a decent wifi connection. I'm planning on doing this job for two years, so even when I go home for vacaction I will probably only be seeing friends and family, and getting drunk, and other real life stuff (like teh sex)
I love this board, and its members, their like a family to me, but as with any family, I can see the weak points and it hurts me to say them out loud, but I think everyone thinks about it, and I think I have to get my own points of view across
I think CERTAIN people have overtly overpowered characters, and think they need to be eliminated, I also think that sometimes some characters are just too convoluted and again, overpowered. They are pretty much sues, whether male or female.
Some characters only exist for hook ups, and I think thats weak sauce.
I think some players, dont think about their characters and that they just come up with an idea, and just make them, then they get board of them quickly and discard them, or only post with them once ina while to keep them from going inactive. I think thats cheap, and it also can give the board a bad name, when some people look at apps of the accepted people, I can see how they look down on them
I think some people ont his site are very hypocritcal, they say one thing and do another, whether it be staff or players. they laugh when something is done to another player, but claim 'bullying' when done to themselves, its pathetic. I mean this is a game!
I think that the storylines should revole around the current players, and not the same old faces, or the same old players... give others a time to shine...
Meh, my rant done, I hope people dont take offence, dont egt all emo about it on the cbox, tbh, you can say what you like about me, but I was a consistant rper, helped alot in the devleopment, and I took a lot of flak for this site from other handlers, I dealt the the anz, and I love this site and have stuck through it through thick and thin.
this site is like my baby and I want it to be successful and carry on being successful. Towards the final months this site became a chore to me, and not fun, please, dont loose that sense of fun for this site, otherwise youll leave the place with bad memories and not good, which is how you should leave, if you ever decide too...

Hello all,
I've enjoyed my years here on eclipse, the time I've spent, and the people I've met. But really I just can't take anymore drama then what I have in my life. Though, I may have my own issues I feel that somethings are out weighted. Some people are difficult if not impossible to work with. I wish the best for this site, the members, and the staff as you embark on a journey to be the best Heroes RPG site on the net. I doubt many will be able to match up to you as long as you stay smart. Keep those great ideas flowing and best wishes. As for Brianna, she left to follow her heart trying to find Danny Wallace and Rachel Davis. Just leaving a note on her desk. If this gets incorperated great...but hey I know how plot is "driven" around here. I find most of the problems here quite comical but hey, as long as you get the job done...that's really all that matters. I wish the best for you all and good luck in all that you do.
